Ovulation an absolute must when trying to get pregnant. There are two things that must happen in order to conceive a baby: A viable egg must be released, and sperm must meet that egg. This can be harder to time than it sounds. Women are not all alike. Not all women have perfect 28 day cycles, and the ones who do may not ovulate 14 days into their cycle. Pinpointing ovulation, however, does not have to be a complete guessing game. There are certain signs and symptoms that women experience immediately before or during ovulation. You can use these symptoms to help get pregnant, or do exactly the opposite. Some couples use ovulation symptoms to prevent pregnancy. Either way, this guide will show you know when a woman is ovulating.
Instructions
1. Touch your cervical fluid by placing two fingers on the outside of the vaginal opening. Bring your fingers in front of your face and look at them. Spread them slightly. Does the cervical fluid resemble raw egg whites? Can you stretch it between your fingers without breaking it? If the answer is yes, you could be ovulating.
