Make Perfumed Body Powder
Do you love the feel and scent of baby powder?
Ironically, most commercial powders are made of talcum powder, which is unhealthy.
Corn starch feels the same, is more healthy, and can be "personalized" with your favorite scent.
Instructions
1. Open the top of a shaker jar. You can buy a jar or thoroughly clean a used herb jar. (not garlic!) Using a funnel, fill the jar halfway with cornstarch.
2. Remove the funnel and spray or add a drop of perfume into the jar. One or two squirts or drops should be enough.
3. Close the solid lid of the jar. Gently shake and turn it to mix the scent with the power.
4. Open the lid again and fill nearly to the top with more cornstarch. Add another squirt or drop of perfume.
5. Cornstarch is even more absorbent than talc. To feel dry, apply it to the insides of your elbows and the backs of your knees... even your underarms.
Apply it lightly, as it cakes more easily.
This method is great for layering; wearing one scent in more than one form so it will last throughout the day.
