Become Emotionless

An essential part of being human is having emotions. They are feelings that go beyond the mere fight or flight responses of survival. Emotions can range from extreme highs and lows to little mental nudges. We can learn to hide our emotions and appear emotionless to protect our vulnerability. To become emotionless takes a lot of mental development and may not be the best use of our energy. However, if you desire read on to learn become emotionless.








Instructions


1. Focus on facts and your ability to change or not change the reality that you are facing. Feelings typically do not have much to do with facts. It is only when we internalize or personalize the facts that emotions tend to arise.


2. Watch the world as you would a movie. By removing our emotions, we can limit the amount of human emotion erupts when we see something that bothers us or uplifts us. Knowing that it has nothing to do with us, we can remain emotionless.


3. Control your responses to people and situations that tend to stir your emotions. Change your mind and think about something else. The feelings will pass until you become proficient in detaching completely from any human emotion. Then the emotionless response can become automatic.


4. Practice retreating inside of yourself. By disassociating from other human experiences and putting yourself into a kind of trance or meditative state, you can put down feelings and remain from their intrusion on your mental state.


5. Prepare to lose the good emotions along with the bad feelings you may initially been trying to avoid. Being emotionless also will rob you of the intense pleasure you can receive when the situation calls for good feelings.
