We all at some time, or another have appreciated the feeling of having hair. Some people may lose their hair at an early age, and some people have their hair until they are seniors. It is good to keep a healthy diet throughout your life time to keep your hair shiny, strong and secure on top of your head. Here is strengthen your hair with a healthy diet.

1. Be aware of the affects of food and nutrition. We forget that our diets can affect the rest of our body, such as nails and hair, and a healthy diet can make your hair look vibrant and healthy.
2. Drink lots of water. Doctors recommend that we drink at least 8 glasses of water every day to keep ourselves hydrated and energized. It also helps to flush out the impurities and toxins that can weaken your hair follicles.
3. Eat loads of green leafy vegetables. Not only are they good for healthy hair, but also for your heart and the rest of your body. Choose a variety of greens such as spinach, broccoli and snow peas.
4. Make sure you take calcium supplements or drink milk. Calcium is a great source of vitamins for our bones, teeth and hair. If you cannot handle drinking milk, you can choose from many supplements at your local pharmacy.
5. Eat as many fruits as you can during the week. Fruits can provide you with natural sugars, and they can be a hydrating source. Bananas have a world of vitamins, and benefits in them.
6. Make sure you get enough protein. You can get protein from meats, eggs and even peanuts. Choose which one will work with your diet. Protein provides our bodies with energy and strength.
