Make Your Skin Shine And Glow

Having glowing, shiny skin may be easier then you think.

Have you always dreamed about having skin that shines and glows? It can be easier then you may think. According to the Science Daily publication, the skin benefits just like the rest of the body does from the nutrition in the food that is eaten. All it takes is eating and drinking a combination of foods that contain the proper nutrients for the enhancement and support of the skin.

Instructions

1. Drink a minimum of 64 oz. of water each day. Drinking water flushes out your system and removes the toxins from your body and hydrates the skin. Get a drinking bottle that measures ounces and keep it filled up with water. Carry it with you wherever you go throughout the day. Whenever you think of it, take a few sips.

2. Eat a consistent diet that is high in vitamin C, as it helps to reduce premature aging and makes the skin glow. Stock up your refrigerator with oranges, tangerines, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and your other favorite fruits. Also, consume a regular diet of sweet potatoes, as they too contain large amounts of vitamin C.

3. Include Omega-3 fatty acids in your diet, as they keep the skin moisturized and prevent it from drying out. According to Healthy Skin Care, an increase of consumption of Omega-3 fatty acids can keep your skin pores from becoming clogged and damaged. Begin eating avocados, salmon, tuna fish, walnuts, mackerel and cod, as they are all rich in Omega-3 fatty acids.

4. Increase your consumption of foods high in zinc, as it manufactures collagen and speeds up healing of the skin. So fill up your refrigerator with turkey, seafood, mushrooms, cheese, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, nuts, eggs and whole grains.

5. Avoid an excess of direct exposure to the sun. When you are in the sun be sure to wear a good sunscreen that has a high SPF. Sun can damage your skin and cause it to age prematurely, so protect your skin from its damaging rays.
