Identify Dextroamphetamine & Amphetamine

Dextroamphetamine is a common drug used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Amphetamine is a drug used to treat narcolepsy and various attention disorders. When someone combines dextroamphetamine and amphetamine, they create Adderall. Adderall is a brand-name drug used to treat ADHD and a variety of other disorders. If not taken properly, Adderall can be habit-forming, leading to abuse and addiction.


Instructions


1. Hold the dextroamphetamine pill in your hands in a well-lit area. The pill should be round and pink, with a single score. The pill has a coating and is no bigger than 9 mm in circumference.


2. Hold the amphetamine in your hand. In pill form, amphetamines are round and blue with a score down the middle.


3. Hold the Adderall in your hand. There are two different types of Adderall. One is a round, pink pill with a score down the middle. The other is an oval, blue pill with two small scores on either side. The pink pill contains 30 mg of Adderall and has 30 scored into it. The blue pill contains 7.5 mg and has 7.5 scored into it.
