2. Pick the color you wish to have. Lighter colors can show stains and scratches more easily and quickly. Darker colors may not show the type of patterns or designs you want, so keep this in mind. You can also choose tie-dye colors, and patterns such as polka dots, stripes, etc.

4. Tell your doctor the color, pattern or design, or graphic you want on your orthodontic retainer. He will record this information and place the order for your retainer.
