It is often more difficult to find pressure points on the foot than on other parts of the body. This is because many people have trouble comfortably getting access to their feet to press the pressure points. It can be done if you are flexible. Otherwise, get a friend to help you then return the favor. It can be very pleasurable.
Instructions
1. Start by locating your Achilles tendon. It is the ridge running from your heel to your calf. Gently press the point in the middle of the Achilles tendon then move the pressure up and down the ridge. This will be extremely painful if you press too hard, so be careful. This pressure point is believed to improve kidney function and dispel fear.
2. Look at the top of your foot. Place your index finger between your big toe and second toe. Now trace a line up your foot about an inch to where the bones of your toes meet inside your foot. Press the point straight down with your finger. This pressure point is believed to improve liver function and release pent up anger or frustration.
3. Go to your big toe. Press the point on the lower outside corner of the big toe nail. If you are looking at your left foot it is the lower left corner. If you are looking at your right foot it is the lower right corner. This pressure point is believed to increase self esteem.
4. Move down to your fourth toe. This is the one just before your smallest toe. Press the point on the lower outside corner of the nail just like you did with the big toe nail. This pressure point is believed to improve gall bladder function and decision making ability.
5. Examine the bottom of your foot. Place your thumb between your big toe and second toe. Lift your toes up then trace your thumb down the sole of your foot until you are at the base of the ball of the foot. This will be where your foot is no longer angling upward. It will be an inch or two below the base of your toes. Relax your toes and press the point. This one feels damn good. Try it on a friend.
