Pinworms, a member of the "Round Worm" family, is a common problem that is found in individuals all around the world. The worms can grow up to 20 feet long. Although Round Worms can be found in individuals of all ages, the pinworm tends to mostly infect children. While a few of the symptoms of having pinworms in your body include an itchy anus, anemia, lethargy, abdominal pain and diarrhea, be aware that symptoms will not always appear.
Instructions
1. Stop eating foods that are high in sugar. The pinworms feed off of the sugar. By ridding your diet of the sugars you can in a sense "starve" the worms out of your body.
2. Add garlic cloves to your daily diet. Take the garlic cloves daily twice a day for about three weeks with a glass of warm water. If you don't want to chew the garlic cloves whole, you can mix the cloves with other food to disguise the taste. You can also take the garlic in the pill. The garlic pills can be purchased from your local health food store.
3. Take herbal treatments such as wormwood or grapefruit seed extract. For the wormwood, you should take one dose every day for one week. For the grapefruit seed extract, add several drops of the extract to an 8 oz. glass of water. Drink the concoction three times a day for a period of one week.
4. Eat plenty of foods that are high in fiber, such as raw vegetables, oatmeal, kidney and lima beans, almonds, soynuts, blueberry and barley.
5. Go on a three day fast to cleanse your system from some of the junk that the worms have been living and thriving on. While on the fast, eat plenty of raw pumpkin seeds.
