Improve Memory And Concentration With Vitamin Supplements

An all too common sign of aging is memory loss. Memory loss is a symptom of the gradual deterioration of brain cells, but it can be attenuated with proper nutrition and vitamin supplements. There are many supplements available for improved memory and concentration. Here are the most common brain and memory boosting ingredients.

Instructions

1. Folic acid, or vitamin B9, can help improve concentration and decrease memory loss because it helps with the production of red blood cells. More red blood cells mean better circulation for the brain and more memory retention. Folic acid can be found in leafy green vegetables, fortified cereal, and peas and beans.

2. Pyridoxine, vitamin B6, is important for enhancement of memory and concentration. Pyridoxine helps the nervous system by assisting in the formation of neurotransmitters, as well and helping in other necessary chemical reactions throughout the brain and body. It can be found in many foods, but especially vegetables, grains, and nuts. vitamin b6 is also found in meat.

3. Although technically not a vitamin, ginkgo biloba is commonly used as a supplement to improve concentration and prevent memory loss. It is commonly misspelled as "gingko" as well

4. Vitamin B12 is another memory enhancer because it helps maintain the nervous system. Some studies have shown that it may also be effective against brain shrinkage in older adults. Vitamin B12 can be found only in animal products, such as meat, milk, eggs, and fish.
