Healing Crystal Wands
Crystal wands, which can be an ornate make-up of crystals, sticks and other baubles, are used to direct the effects of the crystals to a specific point or area. Crystal wands also may be a natural crystal point or a crystal shaped like a point or wand.
Types
Crystal wands are used to direct the crystal's energy by gridding. Gridding is the act of placing different stones in different patterns then connecting the stones with the crystal wand. Certain patterns help to heal.
Benefits
A crystal point may be used in reflexology. Reflexology is a touch healing method that uses certain pressure points on the body to help cure ailments. Most reflexology is done on feet and hands, but with a crystal point, it also is done on the earlobes. Different areas of the earlobe correspond with different body organs.
Effects
Clear crystal quartz is the best stone to use for crystal wand healing because it holds and enhances properties of the other stones--but it is not the only crystal that can be used. Different crystals are used for whatever their properties are. The point at the end of the crystal or wand helps transfer the crystal's energy to where the issue is. For example, if you are healing your back, place the point on your back in the area in which you have pain or problems.
Warning
Crystals should be cleansed and charged before original use and between uses, especially if they are being used on multiple people. Without proper cleansing, a problem a crystal removes from one person may be transmitted to another. To cleanse a crystal, soak it in clean bottled water for 12 hours. To charge your crystal, leave it outside in a safe place under the light of a full moon.
