2. You must have a doctor's prescription to qualify and the antibiotics prescribed must for for one of the eight listed on Publix's free list of antibiotics. The list includes :


Amoxicillin


Cephalexin


Sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim (SMZ-TMP)


Ciprofloxacin (excluding Ciprofloxacin XR)


Penicillin VK


Ampicillin








Erythromycin Stearate and Ethylsuccinate








Doxycycline Hyclate (capsules)


Talk to your doctor about prescribing an antibiotic that is included on this list so that you can get your medication for free. The quantity must be for a 14 day supply or less.


3. Take your prescription to a Publix with a pharmacy and submit your information; the plan is good for anyone; even if you have never filled a prescription at a Publix pharmacy prior to this one. Most pharmacy wait times are within an hour; so you can grab a few groceries while your medication is being filled. Take all antibiotic medication for the entire dosage instructions as prescribed by your physician and heed any warnings or symptoms on your bottle or drug interaction literature that comes with your prescription.
