Use Midol

Pre-menstrual syndrome plagues many women. Over-the-counter drugs are available to help alleviate the symptoms that occur each month. One such drug is Midol. The Midol PMS formula is no longer available. The new over-the-counter drug is Midol Complete. As with any drug, there is a proper way to use Midol, and consumers should stick to indicated uses.

Instructions

1. Take the two caplets with at least 6 ounces of water or juice. The Midol Complete formula contains caffeine. The amount of caffeine is equivalent to one cup of coffee. Additional caffeine is not recommended while taking Midol.

2. Allow the medicine in the caplets to work so the symptoms of cramping, bloating and fatigue are alleviated.

3. Talk to the doctor about using Midol Menstrual Complete if you are pregnant. Never use any drug during pregnancy unless it is prescribed by the physician.

4. Avoid taking any other drugs while using Midol. People who use sodium oxybate should not take Midol. Certain drugs interact with Midol and can cause severe problems. Always tell your doctor what medications you are taking, whether it is prescription or over the counter.

5. Avoid alcohol while taking Midol. The effects can be dangerous to the user.
