Make A Mouth Freshener

Sliced ginger root can be dried to form a mouth freshener.


Mixing up some natural ingredients at home offers a way to create a quick remedy for bad breath. A decrease in saliva in the mouth, leading to an increase in odor-causing microbes, can cause bad breath, or the problem may be due to eating a foods like garlic or onions. A good mouth freshener can alleviate the problem.


Instructions








1. Peel a few gingers. Wash them and slice them into thin pieces. Let them soak in plain water for about 10 minutes. Spread them out on a tray and sprinkle a little salt over the slices. Then dry them out in the sun for about five days. They will shrivel and get thinner. Keep them in an airtight container and use to freshen breath.








2. Keep a few mint leaves at home. Chew some mint leaves whenever you need a mouth freshener. It is a natural way of freshening your mouth without any preservatives and sugar.


3. Chew on some fennel seeds after a meal. If you want a little flavor, add some candy sugar to the seeds. This herb also helps in killing bacteria and is used in many kinds of mouthwashes.
