Make Your Own Antiaging Creams

Before you spend all your hard-earned money on expensive anti-aging creams that may or may not work, make your own at home with natural ingredients that pack a powerful punch against free radicals and other skin-damaging molecules. You don't have to be a chemist to whip up your own anti-aging creams; you just need a few essential ingredients to set you on the right path.

Instructions

Simple Antioxidant Treatment

1. Start with a simple recipe like an anti-aging treatment that uses natural fruits. Place 1 tbsp. blueberries, 1 tbsp. diced strawberries and 1 tbsp. chopped papayas into a food processor, and mix until you have a well-blended mixture. Transfer to a plastic bowl.

2. Blend 1 tbsp. rolled oats in the food processor until you have a powdery consistency. Add the mixture to the blended fruits.

3. Slowly stir in 1 tsp. of slightly warmed honey and 1 tsp. of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Continue blending until you have a thick paste.

4. Apply the antioxidant, anti-aging treatment onto your face for about 15 minutes. Allow the antioxidants from the fruits and honey to absorb deeply into your pores to fight off free radical damage. Use this treatment twice a week for best results.

Anti-Aging Face Mask

5. Mix 3 tbsp. green clay, 1 tsp. honey and 1 tsp. aloe vera gel in a plastic mixing bowl, and stir with a spatula.

6. In a separate bowl, combine 1 tsp. vegetable glycerin, 3 drops vitamin E and 1 drop each of lemongrass, lavender and grapefruit essential oil. While stirring the green clay mixture, slowly add the glycerin and essential oils mixture.

7. Continue stirring until all the ingredients are well-blended. The finished mixture should be smooth.

8. Apply this rejuvenating face masque all over your face and neck a few times a week for 20 minutes.
