Make Homemade Tooth Paste

Make your own tooth paste from scratch at home for pennies. You probably have the ingredients you need already in your home, if not, the ingredients can be purchased at any grocery store, pharmacy or discount store. Whether you have fluoride sensitivity or just want to stay away from the extensive chemicals in manufactured toothpaste, you will love the flavor and results of your homemade concoction.

Instructions

1. Place the baking soda and salt into a small bowl. Stir with a spoon to combine the two dry ingredients.

2. Pour the glycerin into the baking soda and salt mixture. Stir the ingredients together with a fork until a thick paste forms. Break up all of the lumps of baking soda and salt so that all ingredients mix well.

3. Add any flavor oil such as, peppermint, wintergreen, cinnamon or vanilla, to the paste and stir to incorporate the flavoring in to the tooth paste.

4. Pour your homemade tooth paste in to any air tight container with a lid and use as you would use store purchased tooth paste. Store for up to one month.
