Fall Asleep Naturally

We all know that sometimes, no matter what, it's hard to fall asleep. Some, like myself, need a little extra help in that department and, since sleep is vital to our bodies and functioning, it may take some time to find what works for you but it's worth it. Here are some suggestions.

Instructions

1. Tea - A cup of hot tea, one that settles your nerves and helps you relax (e.g. Chamomile), is a good place to start. While you have this cup of tea, though, you'll want to have it in a quiet place where you can release all the stress from that day and wind-down your energy.

2. Hot bath - A hot bath can help your body relax and thus, your mind. Try using essential oils used in relaxation (e.g. Lavender) as an added bonus.

3. Relaxing music - Finding a quiet place where you can listen to some relaxing music, which usually will be classical music, can also help you unwind. If you use mediation or are thinking of trying mediation, quiet relaxing music often helps in that department (mediation can also help you relax at the end of the day as it's prime purpose is to quiet the mind, allowing the body to rest).

4. Natural sleeping pills - If all else fails, try natural sleeping pills instead of prescription or OTC. These are less harmful on your body and do the job just as well. I would recommend using London Naturals Sleep-Relax.
