Treat Abscesses With Natural Remedies

Abscesses can be very painful and can disrupt your daily life for an extended period of time. While many different medications and antibiotics can be used to treat abscesses, there are also numerous natural remedies that can help heal this painful condition. These remedies are simple to perform, and it makes sense to treat a natural occurrence through natural means. Of course, always visit your doctor as soon as you develop an abscess, as it can lead to more serious conditions.

Instructions

1. Smash two raw garlic cloves until they are a fine paste. Mix 2 tbsp. of pure honey with the crushed garlic cloves and consume three times per week. If the taste of garlic is too strong for you, add more honey or purchase garlic pills and consume 4,000mg per day.

2. Add 2 tsp. of echinacea root to 8 oz. of water. Heat this mixture until it begins to boil, then allow the ingredients to simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Strain the water, ensuring that the echinacea root is carefully removed. Consume this tea three times per day.

3. Wet a soft washcloth with warm water. When it's soaked, place four to six drops of chamomile oil onto the washcloth. Compress the abscess with the chamomile-soaked washcloth two times per day. This will ripen the abscess, so the infection will be drawn to the surface of the skin.

4. Juice two aloe vera leaves. Make sure you extract all the juice from the leaves, and wet a soft washcloth with cool water. Compress the abscess with this cloth up to three times per day to prevent further infection, as well as heal the abscess.

5. Mix 3 tbsp. of yarrow herb in 8 oz. of water. Bring this mixture to a boil and allow it to simmer for 10 minutes. Once the tea has been properly simmered, drain the herb out of the tea and consume 4 oz. throughout the day. Drench a soft washcloth in the remaining 4 oz. of tea and wrap the abscess on a daily basis.
