Prevent Spasms

There are many different reasons why muscle spasms happen to the human body. Muscle spasms are involuntary contractions of the body that are very painful. They can happen in any part of the body that has muscles. To help reduce the chance of happen muscle spasms, the following list will help you to have a healthy body.

1. Drink plenty of fluids. If you are participating in strenuous activities outside or in a place where you are most likely to sweat, drinking plenty of fluids will help you stay hydrated. When your body becomes dehydrated, your muscles are more prone to cramp up.








2. Relax. Muscle spasms tend to occur when you are under stress. These spams often effect your neck shoulders and back.


3. Stretch before working out. Stretching before exercising or doing repetitive movements can help minimize muscle cramps in the body. It gives the muscles a chance to stretch and relax.


4. Loosen the covers at the end of your bed at night. Leg muscle spasms may occur at night while you are sleeping. Allowing your legs and feet to fully stretch out helps keep your muscles relax.








5. Seek medical attention. If you are plagued with serious spasms in your body all of the time, seek medical help. Your doctor may give you medication to help with the pain and to relax the muscles.
