Safety Precautions
Before using the ErosTek 312B, you should make sure it is safe for you to use. You should take a pass on the 312B if you have a heart condition, a history of epileptic episodes or seizures or any medical implant such as a pacemaker or a pump. In addition to these specific conditions, if you have any condition that you think may pose a problem, speak with a doctor first.
Basic Functions
The ErosTek attaches to pads that you can attach to your body. The ErosTek then produces electric pulses in a number of different patterns, tempos, frequencies and depths. Because the 312B unit merely produces the electrical pulse, you can attach a number of different types of pads, depending on your preferences and what kind of equipment you have on hand.
Additional Features
The 312B unit has some additional features outside of basic operation. You can insert a microphone into the jack on the front of the console. You can also attach a stereo system. If you want to adjust advanced settings, such as RampLevel and RampTime adjustment, by highlighting the "Adjust Advanced?" menu. Press the "OK" button to open the menu.
Troubleshooting
If you run into any problems while using the ErosTek 312B, the unit comes with a self-test program that initiates as soon as the system turns on. The self-test will display an error message that will indicate exactly what the problem is. If the lights flash when the system powers up, this may indicate that there is a problem with the 312B's internal software.
Care
The most important step you can take in caring for your 312B is preventative care. Treat the 312B like any other piece of hardware: avoid moisture, extreme heat or cold, and magnets. The 312B should not be attached to any metal object. The unit should not be cleaned with anything acidic or alcoholic, or with solvents.
