Homemade Natural Toothpaste

Brushing your teeth twice a day is vital to your dental health.

You do not have to purchase expensive or the latest dental care products to keep your teeth and gums healthy and clean. Healthy, white teeth and fresh breath are an important part of what makes you attractive to other people and are vital to your good health. Homemade natural toothpastes can do the job just as well and are inexpensive to make. Consumers who make homemade toothpaste save money but not having to pay for the advertising and packaging of the commercial products.

Instructions

1. Pour ¼ cup of vegetable grade glycerin into a clean jar with a lid. You can find this useful product at health food stores and pharmacies.

2. Add ¼-cup baking soda to the jar. Baking soda is located on the baking goods aisle at your grocery store.

3. Place 10 to 15 drops of peppermint (food grade) essential oil into the jar. You can find many flavors of essential oils at health food stores and pharmacies.

4. Stir the ingredients well with a teaspoon.

5. Place a small amount of the mixture onto your wet toothbrush and brush your teeth as usual. Rinse well. You will have clean, healthy teeth and fresh breath if you use the mixture twice a day in the morning and at night.
